One of Franconia Notch’s geological wonders. The Flume Gorge offers a spectacular walk through a natural chasm, over covered bridges, past waterfalls, a scenic pool, and mountain views. A free 20-minute movie at the visitor center provides a fine introduction to Franconia Notch State Park and the Flume Gorge. Information Center, cafeteria, gift shop, interpretive exhibits.

The Bretton Woods Ski Resort, New Hampshire’s largest ski area, sits just across the street boasting 464 acres of the best downhill skiing and lessons around. Their Nordic Ski Center has been recognized nationally for excellent snow quality, family programs, and customer service. During the summer and fall months, take in the mountain air and changing seasons while enjoying the Mount Washington golf course, a Donald Ross original golf course in accordance with its original design of 1915.
