Space

This New England style farmhouse has an entry through the side of the house and brings you to the first level of the home in the dining area. The yard has parking for up to 4 vehicles. Watch TV while lounging on the comfortable new sofa in the 1st living room, or play some board games and enjoy the cozy wood fireplace in the 2nd living room! There is one bathroom on the first floor. All bedrooms and an additional bathroom are on the second floor. There are two window a/c units.

Cook your meals at home in the well appointed kitchen, or enjoy grilling season with the propane grill just a step outside. This home is spacious with many seating areas inside and out, there is plenty of room to rest, unwind, and enjoy and you are minutes away from everything the White Mountains has to offer!

Things to Know:

Home sleeps a maximum of 8 guests
3 bedrooms with 3 queen beds, and one bunk bed (bunks are not for adults)
Guests must be over 25 years of age (excludes children traveling with parent/guardian)
The fireplace is wood (Duraflame logs only- 2 are provided for your stay)
A/C is available in the summer with two window units, one upstairs and one down
There is parking for 4 vehicles
No pets of any kind are permitted
Private beach area on Ossipee River- the river is swimmable though its shallow and rocky. Please bring your own beach towels.
Located next to an antique store off of a well traveled road- noise is minimal

There is an antique store right next door, and you can walk over the bridge to Bobby Sue’s Ice Cream. Rent a boat or jet ski from Goodhue marina and enjoy the day on Ossipee Lake!

Nearby hiking trails : Highwatch Preserve and Dearborn Trail

King Pine Ski area is under 10 minutes- skiing, ice skating, tubing, snowshoeing and Yesterday’s restaurant

Two golf courses nearby: Parsonsfield and Indian Mound

White Lake Speedway- go karts, laser tag, mini golf, bowling

Restaurants: Mountain View Station 10 mins, Wontons Chinese 25 minutes, Kristas in Cornish is 20 minutes, Fairgrounds Pizza and Pub is 17 minutes, Bay Haven Lobster Pound 18 minutes, The Dairy Bar is 12 minutes, Yankee Smokehouse and Hobbs Tavern are 15 minutes away. Trackers Store will deliver items to your home, and also offers subs and pizza.

House Rules

Guests must be 25 years of age and must show photo ID (drivers license) upon request

All guests are required to review and sign our rental agreement with Red Maple Retreats upon booking and prior to arrival.

No pets

No parties, no outside visitors, no overnight guests without previous approval from your host.

Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property. This applies to both drugs and internet activity.

If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.

Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we’d like to keep it that way 🙂

No smoking of any kind, cigarettes/cigars and/or Vaping– also don’t discard your cigarettes in the house trash cans. There will be a $400 charge if smoking occurs.

No fireworks

There is a 24 hour outdoor surveillance camera that points to the driveway only

Please respect the neighborhood-quiet time hours are 10pm-8am

Additional house rules for operating home-specific amenities will be located on the premises

Return all keys- there is a $15 charge for lost or missing keys
